5.4. Filling and pumping of hydraulic system of coupling

For filling of system:
— remove a protective cap from the drain union;
— open the drain union;
— fill a tank with brake fluid (DOT4+);
— close the union as soon as liquid begins to follow.
For pumping of system:

— connect a hose to the drain union, and lower other its end in the capacity which is partially filled with brake fluid (fig. 5.7);
— open the drain union;
— slowly squeeze out and release a coupling pedal. Repeat it until with liquid there is an air;
— close the drain union; moment of an inhaling of 10 N · m;
— remove a hose and put a cap.
In the course of pumping you watch the level of brake fluid in a tank of the main brake cylinder, it should not fall below the mark "min".
