2.9.1. General description

Your car can be in addition equipped with system of dynamic stabilization (DSA). It is the system preventing wheel slip. It joins automatically at launch of the engine and works automatically at all speeds if one or both driving wheels begin to revolve or to slip at the movement in turn. ABS sensors will specify to a control system of the engine that wheels rotate with various speeds. Then the control system of the engine begins to reduce engine capacity by means of decrease in supply of fuel (using specially programmed 16 steps), skidding of wheels will not stop yet. It improves stability of the movement of the car at start-off from the place and on turns, and also improves possibilities of acceleration on slippery surfaces and slopes.

At desire it is possible to switch off the DSA system by pressing of the special switch (fig. 2.16) and its keeping in the pressed situation during more than half a second. At shutdown of system on the dashboard the corresponding control indicator will light up.
If on the car the special spare wheel (wheel — "spare wheel") is established, it is recommended to switch off this system since the tire in it can be other diameter.
In this case the system needs to be reprogrammed as follows:
— the system has to be included;
— to accelerate the movement to 70 km/h and to reduce speed to 30 km/h, braking the engine;
— then to repeat this operation once again (braking the engine, but not a pedal of a brake).
This operation should be repeated once again after installation on the car of the normal tire.
For inclusion of system it is necessary to press the button shown in fig. 2.16 again.
At repeated launch of the engine the system joins automatically.
At inclusion of ignition the control lamp on an instrument guard has to light up for a short time while the system carries out self-checking operations (2 seconds after launch of the engine). If the lamp continues to burn, it testifies to the malfunction found in system.
