Mounted on the case of a butterfly valve of 7/25 (fig. 9.1), the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve gives signals of extent of opening of the gate on BU. BU uses this information for calculation of frequency of rotation of a bent shaft and loading of the engine.
At turn of an axis of a butterfly valve there is a shift of mobile contacts that changes sensor resistance. As a result tension of an output signal on BU changes from 0,7 B at completely closed gate to 4,7 B at completely open gate. The output signal changes the value smoothly.
