7.3.2. Replacement of the lever of a suspension bracket and saylentblok

When replacing the lever of a suspension bracket it is necessary to consider that it is manufactured as a single whole with the spherical hinge. It is necessary to perform works on replacement of the lever and saylentblok in such order:
1) remove the suspension bracket lever:
— weaken bolts of fastening of a forward wheel; you will hang out a wheel, having lifted the car; remove a wheel;

— turn out a bolt of fastening of a forward saylentblok and two bolts of fastening of a back saylentblok (fig. 7.12);
— take a wheel aside and take out the suspension bracket lever, having disconnected it from a cross beam; at the same time you watch that the half shaft did not go out of the transmission;
— turn off a nut of the spherical hinge as far as possible;

— to a vypressuyta the spherical hinge by means of the special tool 999 5637 (fig. 7.13).
For installation of the tool wring out a support down;
— turn off a nut and remove the suspension bracket lever.
2) check the spherical hinge of a rotary fist:
— screw a nut and by means of a dynamometer key 999 8087 measure the moment of a provorachivaniye of the spherical hinge; it has to make 1 — 3 N · m;
— if the moment of a provorachivaniye goes beyond these limits, replace the suspension bracket lever;
3) replace a protective cover (if it is damaged or scratched):
— clear the place around the spherical hinge;
— remove an old protective cover;
— put lubricant in a new cover and establish it into place;
— be convinced that lock springs rose on the places;
4) replace a back rubber support of the lever of a suspension bracket:

— place the suspension bracket lever under a press and put the tool 998 5433 (fig. 7.14) under a rubber support;
— to a vypressuyta the suspension bracket lever from a rubber support by means of a mandrel;
— clear the end of a shaft;
— moisten with soap solution a new rubber support and its napressuyta on a suspension bracket lever shaft by means of a mandrel 999 5065;

5) to a vypressuyta a forward rubber support from the lever of a suspension bracket (fig. 7.15)
e) install a forward rubber support in the suspension bracket lever:

— put a finger and install the special tool 999 5626 (fig. 7.16);
— grease with soap solution a rubber support, establish it on a finger and press in the suspension bracket lever. The rubber support has to stand parallel to the suspension bracket lever;
— remove the holder 999 5625 and take out a finger;
6) install the suspension bracket lever (see fig. 7.12):
— install the suspension bracket lever in a cross beam, put a bolt and a nut;
— press the spherical hinge on the place, tighten a nut the moment of 67 N · m;
— establish a support as it is possible closer to the spherical hinge and rock a suspension bracket up-down several times that rubber support fell into place;
— tighten a nut of a forward saylentblok the required moment; check the angles of installation of wheels.
