Basic elements of an automatic natyazhitel (fig. 3.6) of a belt of the drive of the gas-distributing mechanism are the spring and a damper.
If the tension of a belt weakens, the plunger under the influence of a spring is squeezed out outside and oil flows via the backpressure valve on other party of a plunger until its pressure on both sides is not leveled.
If the tension of a belt amplifies, oil via the channel is squeezed out for a plunger back until pressure on both sides is not leveled. It supports a uniform and exact tension of a belt irrespective of its temperature.
