3.4.1. Drive of the gas-distributing mechanism

Camshafts and the water pump are put in action by a gear belt (fig. 3.5). Cogged pulleys fasten on each of camshafts by means of three bolts. An opening under bolts have the oval form for ensuring the correct orientation of camshafts. Two more cogged pulleys are fixed on cranked to a shaft (the leading pulley) and on the water pump.
The tension of a belt of the drive of the mechanism of gas distribution is carried out by an automatic natyazhitel. Natyazhitel influences a belt through the roller established on the lever. The roller of an uspokoitel located on the other side of a belt prevents its fluctuations.
