2.8. System of deduction of constant speed of the movement (cruise control)

The system of deduction of constant speed of the movement is used as follows:

1) inclusion of the mode of deduction of constant speed of the movement. Switches of control of speed of the movement are located on the handle of the lever of the index of turns (fig. 2.15). For commissioning and installation of the required speed:

       NOTE
If several preventions at the same time arrive, then the first outputs the warning of a course stock.

— to install the switch B in position of ON (in C);
— to accelerate or slow down the movement to the required speed;
B4184SJ: control of speed of the movement cannot be put into operation at speeds below 40 km/h (it can be included only on the 5 or 4 transfer)
— to press a key of control of SET (A) from outside "+" or "—" for parameter setting of speed the speed supported at present;
2) temporary shutdown of system of deduction of constant speed of the movement. Control of speed of the movement is automatically turned off:
— when pressing a pedal of a brake or coupling;
— if the switch B is quickly wrung out to the right (function of single action).
Chosen before the speed of the movement remains in memory; by shift for a moment of the switch B in the direction of the RESUME task (to renew) the speed kept in memory will be again entered.
3) work of system at sharp acceleration. Sharp acceleration as, for example, when overtaking, does not interrupt action of control of speed of the movement. Earlier established speed will remain without the need for shift of the switch B in situation RESUME.
If the system of deduction of speed of the movement is put already into operation, the speed of the movement can be raised or lowered by pressing of a key of SET (A) both aside "+", and aside "—". One short-term action of the SET key corresponds to change of speed on 2,0 km/h. After this key is released, the speed of the movement of the car becomes programmed.
4) shutdown of system of deduction of constant speed of the movement.
To install the switch B in position of OFF (off) or to press a brake pedal, or a coupling pedal. If ignition is switched off or the lever of the transmission is installed in situation N, the system of deduction of constant speed of the movement will automatically stop the action. If speed decreases to 15 km/h, control of operational speed automatically will come out action. It occurs also at skidding or blocking of wheels.

       NOTE
At the movement of the car with the automatic transmission on the hilly area the tendency of repeated switching of the transmission between various transfers can be observed. It can be avoided by the manual choice of lower transfer.

       PREVENTION
The system of deduction of constant speed of the movement should not be applied in severe road conditions or at movement along damp or slippery roads.

       NOTE
At the movement on the hilly area the actual speed of the car can differ a little from the speed of the movement, the installed system.
