2.16. The hatch with the electric drive

For control of the hatch with the electric drive (fig. 2.25) the ignition key has to be in situation II. The hatch is equipped with the AUTO OPEN function ("Automatic opening").
Just quickly press the button (1) from one of two parties (at the closed hatch) and the hatch will automatically open in situation for ventilation (A) or in the shifted situation (B). The hatch can be stopped in any situation, having pressed the button once again.
The hatch has the following fixed provisions:
1) situation for ventilation (fig. 2.25, A) — for opening of the hatch in the provision of the maximum ventilation once quickly press the buttons (1) on the right side. By repeated pressing the left or right side of this button the hatch will stop. For full closing of the hatch it is necessary to press and hold the button pressed the left side;
2) the slightly opened position of the hatch — for opening once quickly press the buttons (1) on the left side. The hatch will stop in situation for driving (see below). Again press and hold the button pressed the left side — the hatch will move in completely open situation (see below). During moving of the hatch it can be stopped, having pressed once again the left or right side the buttons. For full closing of the hatch it is necessary to press and hold the button pressed the right side;
3) situation for driving — situation in which the hatch is open not completely. Serves for reduction of noise of air during driving;
4) completely open situation — this situation is not recommended to be used during driving.

If in the car there are children, it is necessary to watch that they did not push the head or hands in a hatch aperture during its closing.
Leaving the car, surely take out a key from the ignition lock.

The hatch in a roof is supplied with the antisolar guard (fig. 2.26) which is also operated manually. This guard automatically opens together with the hatch in a roof.

If the hatch in a roof is not closed by means of the electric drive, it can be closed manually, using for this purpose the tool provided in the delivered tool kit (fig. 2.27).

Do not close an antisolar guard at the open hatch in a roof. It can break its correct work.

If when pressing the switch the hatch in a roof does not work, check the corresponding safety lock (15 A). If the safety lock is serviceable, but the electric drive of the hatch does not work, use the special wrench from the enclosed set of tools combined with the crosswise screw-driver. To open other end of the tool, remove from it the handle. Closing of the hatch in this case needs to be carried out as follows:
— to remove glasses of a lighting plafond of salon, to unscrew screws and to uncover a lighting plafond;
— by means of the screw-driver to remove a cap from the screw;
— to remove the screw;

Show care not to lose the screw 1 (see fig. 2.27), a washer 2, laying 3 or the coupling 4 since without them the moving roof of the hatch will not work.

— to turn the screw-driver the return end in the handle for transformation it in a face key;
— to insert this face key into a power shaft of the electric motor of the moving roof and to close the moving roof, rotating a key clockwise.
If to scroll a shaft too far, the moving hatch will move to a provision of ventilation. To turn a key in other party until the hatch is closed again.
