2.12.2. Seats of the driver and passengers with the electric drive

If your Volvo car is equipped with seats with the electric drive, then it is possible to execute the following adjustments of a seat (fig. 2.20) by means of the below-specified keys:
1) a key A — adjustment of height of a forward part of a pillow of a seat.
2) a key B — adjustment of longitudinal movement of a seat.
3) a key C — adjustment of height of a back part of a pillow of a seat.
4) a key D — adjustment of a tilt angle of a back of sitting.
For safety reasons adjustment stops at the termination of pressing the corresponding key.
Adjustment lumbar a subtime (a fragment of I) is carried out in the way, similar considered above.

If the seat begins to move spontaneously, it is necessary to press one of buttons, and it will stop.

Before to regulate a seat, be convinced that no objects which are in front or behind disturb it. Check also that the sufficient space for passengers on a back seat is left. Do not assume that children played adjustment devices.

Front seats with the electric drive have the device of protection against an overload which works if the seat is blocked by an obstacle. If it occurs, wait about 20 with before using sitting adjustment again.

The passenger's seat regulated by means of the electric drive can be regulated only when the key of the lock of ignition is in situation I or II.
